A Summer Off Sailing

This summer I did something completely rogue.

Something so ridiculously unexpected and out of my comfort zone... and it was probably the best thing I've done so far.

I quit my sensible public relations office job and booked a one-way flight to Croatia leaving just three days later. I threw a bottle of Reimanns P20, stuffed the next few months of my life into a hand-luggage sized bag and flew out to Croatia, completely by myself, to work for this unbelievable thing called The Yacht Week.

Cyprus, Wish Trees & Birthday Surprises

It's mumma Valentina's birthday, and she resides in Cyprus so a cheeky surprise trip home to Cyprus was in order!

(A certain someone being the nosey type, tsk tsk, figured out I'd booked flights somewhere, so I had to cover my bases and make up a story about how I was planning a trip to Amsterdam...)

Rose Gold Love

Just a quick blog this morning to share with you what's been my dressing-table obsession since September. (Huge kisses to Leanne who got me these for my birthday.)

In my attempt to juggle my internship, weekend job and maintaining some vague resemblance of a life I almost forgot that I'd been meaning to rave about these. Although you've probably heard about them by now. Right? I mean, if not - where have you been?!

At least now after consistently using and washing them for 4 months I can safely vouch for their quality - which has so far had me consistently reaching for them alongside if not over my mac brushes!

The Best Freaking Cleanser (Ever)

So this stuff bit might be a tiny bit on the pricey side but I had to share because after trying this you will never look at a makeup wipe the same way again. Like, ever.

(The bottle lasts you ages - so, totally worth it.)

An oil-based cleanser enriched with:
Jojoba oil.
Safflower oil.
Shea butter oil.
Soy oil.
Olive oil.
Camelia seed oil.
Ginger root oil.
And finally, corn oil.

It goes on as an oil and comes off as a light foam once you rise it off.

I tried a sneaky pump of my mum's bottle almost a year ago now and I'm now going onto my second bottle & feel like it's doing serious wonders for my skin.

And it removes makeup like nothing else.

Smother it onto your face (makeup and all), give it a minute to do it's thang and wave goodbye to the eternal battle of face vs makeup wipe as you rinse it off and all your makeup comes off with it.

Like rainbows, unicorns & fairy dust packaged into a bottle.
